ABOUT

“ORAÏK was born from a desire to express my artistic universe, where jewellery becomes wearable sculpture infused with primal energy and symbolism. I am fascinated by ancient beliefs where jewellery was not mere adornment, but a magical object endowed with supernatural powers. My creative process is driven by intuition, letting shapes and ideas emerge from the realm of dreams and imagination. I love transforming traditional goldsmithing techniques and fine materials into untamed, playful forms that defy convention.”

INSPIRATION

Masks and costumes of indigenous tribes, mysterious prehistoric animals captured on the walls of caverns, archetypal symbols, and ancient images that transcend ages and cultures are essential sources of inspiration for the ORAÏK jewellery collection.

CRAFT

PRESERVING THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE ARTIST’S HAND AND THE NATURAL CHARACTER OF THE MATERIALS DEFINES THE SIGNATURE STYLE OF ORAÏK JEWELLERY.

SPONTANEOUS YET LABORIOUS

The creative process begins with sculpting each piece directly in wax, allowing the form to emerge through an intuitive, tactile process. Accompanying drawings are created—not to define the final shape, but to explore the essence and energy the piece is intended to hold.

ROUGHLY DELICATE

Later, the wax model is cast in silver or gold using the long-established technique of lost wax casting. The finalised jewellery piece is adorned with enamels and gems.
By combining the traditional techniques of goldsmiths with modern tools, we create a harmonic dialogue between ancient and contemporary craftsmanship.

CAREFULLY CHOSEN

As we recognise that precious metals and natural gemstones possess inimitable aesthetic and symbolic value, the use of natural materials is essential for ORAÏK. We put great care into selecting and sourcing the raw materials for our jewellery pieces.
